These posters and fact-sort activities will help your students to collect and organise information on six different Australian Animals. This is perfect preparation for writing an Australian Animal Information Report.
Six Aussie animals are included:
koala, platypus, kangaroo, echidna, bilby and wombat
Each poster includes information on each animal’s habitat, diet, lifecycle, appearance, special features and interesting facts – great for displaying around the classroom!
Also included is a sheet of jumbled facts for each animal – students should choose one animal, colour each fact according to the key supplied; cut the facts out and glue into the correct square on the sorting sheet.
This is great preparation for Information Report writing! Students can then use the colour-coded facts to create the headings and paragraphs of their first Information Report draft!
