Description

Uluru is a significant Australian landmark and Aboriginal sacred site. It is also one of the world’s largest monoliths influenced by weather and erosion. This Uluru research template helps your students to organise information on Uluru from these perspectives, in a fun and simple format that they will enjoy.

Your students will enjoy completing each section of this handy tri-fold brochure on Uluru. Aboriginal perspectives are included, as are facts such as location and history. Students are also encouraged to think about the geological significance of the rock, and evidence of humans around the rock.

It is a great research template for students writing information reports!

You will get:

  • a PDF file containing two pages. You can print back to back, or print two pages and glue them together (this is a good option if you intend to display the brochures).
  • A template that covers the following: Location and size of the site; diagram/map; meaning of the name ‘Uluru’; significance to Aboriginal culture; history of the area; formation; weather and climate; animals; signs of humans; interesting facts

One of Australia’s most recognisable tourist destinations is a fantastic information report topic for Australian students, given the connections to Aboriginal culture and rock formations.
