Spring into spring writing! These scaffolded information writing sheets will help your students to write all about spring themes. There are 10 spring topics included.
Each topic scaffold includes a picture of the topic and space to label the picture. Then, students are given sentence starters to write sentences. Your students will love choosing a topic, labeling its physical characteristics, and then writing interesting sentences.
This resource includes:
- 10 spring writing graphic organizers
- Each scaffold includes title, student name and date, picture of topic, spaces to label picture, sentence stems (ARE, HAVE, CAN, LIVE, EAT), writing lines for students to complete the sentences.
- You can guide students to classify their topic (ARE), describe it (HAVE), share interesting facts and life cycle information (CAN) detail their habitat (LIVE) and their diet (EAT). These sentence stems can later become headings.
