Description
Are your students writing holiday recounts? This resource will support them to write a short recount detailing what they did on their holiday, and who with.
You will get:
- A holiday recount mat, with room for students to add picture cards – print on coloured card for durability.
- Picture cards for where and who (the park, the movies, grandma, a friend etc)
- Handwriting scaffolds in state fonts – students can complete the gaps using the support of the picture cards or without.
- Additional longer scaffold (On the holidays, I went to…. with my …. First, Next, Then, Finally, It was….)
- Words to cut out and rearrange to create different sentences.
